JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our fleet of trucks, equipment, and general housekeeping of the shop and surrounding area.
Essential Functions

- Perform thorough cleaning of trucks, trailers, and other vehicles to maintain their cleanliness and ensure they meet company standards.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning equipment, such as power washers, brushes, detergents, and cleaning agents, to effectively remove dirt, grime, and debris that may accumulate during transportation and on the work site.
- Clean and sanitize vehicle interiors, including driver cabins, windows, mirrors, dashboards, and seats.
- Inspect trucks and equipment for damage, wear and tear, and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Adhere to environmentally friendly practices when disposing of waste materials and cleaning agents.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient scheduling and coordination of vehicle cleaning tasks.
- Perform general housekeeping in the shop and surrounding area.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; explosives. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands
The employee will be required to walk or stand; use hands, fingers to handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.
Travel
Periodic travel to state and local destinations, as well as some interstate travel is required.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED certificate.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in vehicle cleaning, janitorial work, or related field
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
